Lachance Tree Service says it has served the Greater Hartford and Litchfield counties since 1958, and its own site lists aerial bucket tree removal, trimming, storm clean-up, land clearing, stump grinding and firewood for residential and commercial customers. A 2025 customer who wanted three large dead ash trees brought to the ground said Jay quoted a reasonable price, showed up as promised and had the work completed in about an hour. A 2025 reviewer wrote that a number of tall oak trees came down in a few hours, with the yard left cleaned up and the wood they wanted to keep piled in the back yard. A 2024 customer said four trees of 24 to 36 inches in diameter were taken down and the wood hauled away. In 2023, a customer who needed a whole tree and some large branches removed from over the house on a tight timeline said Jay and the crew worked around bad weather and did the work by the deadline. A 2023 reviewer said the new owners showed up on time, cleaned up the yard when done and charged a reasonable price. A 2025 customer who had wood delivered said it was full of mud and cut from 12 to 18 and 24 inches, and objected to being charged full price for the cord.
