Lakes Region HVAC

Heat pumps and mini splits are the work at Lakes Region HVAC. A recent Google customer said Sam installed 3 Mitsubishi mini splits for their cabins on Sebago Lake, arrived on time, got the work done quickly and even submitted the rebates to Efficiency Maine. On a recent mini split install at a home, Sam worked with the customer on creative routing for the hoses, and that customer mentioned good communication and cleanup. The company describes itself on its website as a heating and cooling contractor that specializes in heat pumps, a registered residential Efficiency Maine vendor offering HVAC services around southern Maine for light commercial and residential customers. Its stated service area runs through Raymond, Casco, Windham, Naples, Harrison, Falmouth, Yarmouth, South Portland, Auburn and New Gloucester. A 2025 customer said Sam Darche', the owner, met with them to talk through options, and they decided together on a ducted heat pump system. That 2025 customer said he installed the whole system in little over a week while they were away, and that his price did not change from his estimate. A 2024 customer said Sam took on heat pumps that were cooling but not heating and got to the bottom of it in a timely manner, after another company had sent a tech out on a few occasions without resolving the problem. A 2024 customer who had two heat pumps installed said Sam called right away after their request, came out on a weekend for the initial assessment, and did the install within a couple of weeks of the first call. A 2023 customer said the company installed 5 heads and two condensers in about 6 days, and that they were working months later. A 2023 customer who hired Sam to look at a mini split said he advised that no service was needed because there were no issues.
