Leap Home Services is the kind of small Quincy outfit you call when the job won't sit neatly inside one trade — a faucet here, a vent there, a room that needs a little of everything. Run around a lead named Kevin, the company bills itself as a full-service home and handyman operation covering the odd repairs and installs a house keeps throwing at you. The reputation is narrow but uniform: 13 Google ratings, every one of them five stars. The theme homeowners keep coming back to is responsiveness — Kevin answers the phone and texts, quotes fairly, and shows up — paired with pricing people call affordable and reasonable. One recent review captures the tone: Kevin made time to finish a bathroom so a customer's elderly mother could see it done, work she described as affordable and respectful. What separates them from a one-trick handyman is range. Across their history, reviewers describe a single crew handling several trades on the same house — plumbing, electrical, light HVAC, carpentry — and more than one is a repeat client who has handed them project after project over a couple of years. The honest caveat is depth. Thirteen ratings is a modest sample, nearly all of it on Google, and only one landed in the last six months — a real but thin history rather than a deep, corroborated one. Outside directories don't even agree on what they are: one files them under flooring installers, another as a general contractor, while their own site says full-service handyman, and a checkbook.org listing shows a single review with no visible rating. For a homeowner working through a punch list — small repairs, a fixture swap, a light remodel touch across a few trades — Leap is a sensible call, especially when responsiveness and a fair quote matter most. Before a larger project, confirm licensing and insurance for the specific trade involved, and get the scope and price in writing.

Kevin was so amazing! Affordable experienced and helpful! He is respectful and made time to get our bathroom done so my elderly mother could get to see it. My review would be TEN STARS .

We’ve just had Kevin’s team complete their forth project for us. Started two years ago needing to have some faucets replaced and doors adjusted and they have since demoed and installed a new deck, reconfigured part of our HVAC system and today finished replacing an old bay window with a more modern sliding window. They matched it perfectly to our existing windows. Kevin and his team will be doing more projects for us in the future. Best Thumbtack find!!!

I have used Leap Home Services 2x in the past 3 years. This is a review of the 1st job which required the installation of a single row of tiles along the top edge of the existing tiles in the original 58 yr old bathroom. My very single requirement was that the top row NOT look like it was added to the original bathroom; it had to look original or else I would have been disappointed. Kevin, who took my initial call to collect some information, asked questions that made me immediately realize I was not dealing with the average handyman services. Within about 10 minutes into the phone conversation, he scheduled the work for me, told me exactly what supplies to have in place, and gave me a price. Within a short amount of time (maybe a couple of days) the worker arrived exactly on time, brought whatever he needed from his truck, did the work swiftly, confidently, neatly, and professionally in every way. He wasted no time whatsoever. In addition to the tile work he replaced 2 lights within the 2 hours he was here. As soon as you speak to Kevin (owner) for the first time, you'll hang up the phone knowing without a doubt that he's respectful, friendly, very knowledgeable, and he's eager to satisfy his customer. I'll be having some painting soon, and I've already let him know I want him to do it, and there will be more projects coming for this 58 year old condo. I'm overwhelmed by his work! Everything I said above applies to the 2nd project, which was the installation of a new stand-up stove and oven. This stove replaced my 58 yr old stove/oven unit which had a unique 1960's design and physical profile. This job required very specific carpentry skills as a result of the retrofit. I fired the previous very highly priced contractor after he completed about half the work in the span of 6 days after telling me that it was a 1-2 day job but never told me he would be doing it over a span of many days, leaving me with only a microwave oven for cooking. Kevin sent very good workers to my home, they showed up exactly on time, conducted their work in the same fashion as I described above for the 1st job. Within 2 hours of arriving, they looked at the situation and asked me very pertinent questions, went to Home Depot to pick up a few supplies, completed their work exactly as specified and departed. I find Kevin and his workers to be consistently stellar in every way.

We had a fantastic experience with Leap Services! From the start, Kevin was incredibly responsive—easy to reach by phone or text, and always clear in communication. Lin did excellent work on several home upgrades: he installed two new bathroom vents, added a garbage disposal with a push-button at our kitchen sink (along with a new electrical outlet), and replaced our kitchen faucet. Kai did a great job removing and installing our over-the-range microwave, and like the rest of the team, he was professional and efficient. Everything was done with care and precision, and they cleaned up thoroughly after each job, leaving our home neat and tidy. Another big plus: paying through Venmo was super easy and convenient—no checks or bank runs needed! We also received a detailed paid receipt, which is perfect for keeping track of home improvements. We’re extremely happy with their work and will definitely use Leap Services again for future projects. Highly recommend!
