Boston Paint & Power

Daniel Coelho built Boston Paint & Power out of a small painting crew, and the jobs customers describe now run well past paint: a bathroom, kitchen and basement remodeled in 2024, siding replaced that same year, deck rails and stairs rebuilt in 2026, custom tall closet doors clear-finished and installed in 2023. Punctuality is what reviewers keep coming back to — six of them raise it, in nearly the same words: the crew shows up when it says it will, works organized, and cleans up. A June 2026 customer writing in Portuguese described quality work, attention to detail, and everything left clean at the end. Seven reviews name Dan himself; one in 2024 said his quotes came in accurate, and that when surprises turned up mid-job he walked through the pros and cons of the different ways to solve them. On Google the company holds 5 stars across 20 ratings, and a Quincy neighbor recommended it on Nextdoor in 2025. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #208665, is active, held by Boston Paint & Power L.L.C. The company's site gives Boston, Quincy and Norwood as its service area. The one thing to think through is the breadth. Painting, power washing, flooring, carpentry, siding and full remodels all come off the same truck, so on a multi-trade job ask who specifically is doing each piece and how the schedule stacks up. For a Quincy or Boston homeowner who wants the house painted — inside, out, or both — and might keep the same crew on for the deck, the floors or a bathroom while they are there, this is a straightforward call.
