Ten of Let It Shine Cleaning's 22 written reviews mention Kristen (one spells it Kristin) by name, usually alongside "her team" or "her crew." It holds 4.9 stars from 8 ratings on Google and 5.0 on both HomeAdvisor (12 ratings) and Thumbtack (8 ratings). The written reviews run from 2020 to 2024, and 16 of them date from 2021. The jobs customers describe are concrete. In a May 2023 Google review, a customer wrote about a deep cleaning on "a big, old farmhouse," from the floors to the baseboards to the shelves. A June 2021 HomeAdvisor reviewer who found a newly purchased home dirty after closing hired the company to clean and disinfect the whole house before moving in, and wrote that the crew arrived on time and the house was spotless. A July 2021 reviewer said a move-out clean followed the provided list and got them their full deposit back, and a May 2021 reviewer hired them for a deep cleaning before putting a home up for sale. A September 2021 Thumbtack customer described same-day service at a price they called very fair. Several reviews come from repeat customers: a June 2021 Thumbtack reviewer said the team had been cleaning their house for a year and that the team was there when they said they would be, and a January 2021 HomeAdvisor reviewer said they had worked with Kristen for several years, including on windows and cabinets. An April 2023 Thumbtack customer wrote that the team worked around a shifting schedule and multiple small children in the house. The one mixed note is from November 2021: a 4-star Google reviewer called the job very good "but not superior for the money paid," while adding they would use the company again. A November 2021 HomeAdvisor reviewer said the cleaners took responsibility for a minor oversight.
