Liberty Construction & Landscape

Liberty Construction & Landscape is an East Bridgewater contractor. In a 2026 review, a homeowner said the owner, Adam, goes above and beyond, that all his crews are very professional and knowledgeable, and that the addition they put on their home, with a master bedroom, bathroom and office, came out beautiful. In a 2025 review, a homeowner described building in two stages: first adding a basement bathroom, removing a wall and the finishing work, then, six months later, a full addition (an in-law apartment) with a full basement and high ceilings. They said Adam always answered his phone and, if they did not like something, was quick to fix it. Another 2025 customer, expanding their home, said Adam followed through on every promise and that his expertise was evident in every step, from architectural planning to overseeing every phase of construction, coordinating teams in electrical, plumbing and more. In a third 2025 review, a customer said Adam and his crew did a great job adding a bathroom to their basement, and that from the tile work to the paint color everything looked great and was done in a very reasonable timeframe. A 2024 customer said Liberty did a fantastic job with their addition, and that the pricing was very reasonable and the quality of workmanship high. In a 2023 review, a customer looking to replace their siding said Adam came by the next day with a very competitive quote and had finished in two weeks, including a door they added part way through. In a 2024 review, a customer who wanted cedar shingles replaced on their colonial said they had a small crew dedicated to their project that did a good job cleaning up on a daily basis; it took longer than they initially expected, which they said had more to do with weather and other unforeseen issues. In a 2020 review, a customer said they wanted their entire old-fashioned beach house re-shingled with natural cedar shakes, and that Adam offered to include the trim repair and 2nd-story painting for a small fee. In another 2020 review, a customer said they hired Adam and his crew to build a 2-car garage with a full 2-bedroom in-law above, and that it was below their budget and done before their deadline. A 2020 customer said they had Liberty build a family room addition, relocate a dining room and build a study, and that Adam worked within the budget. In a 2021 review, a customer converting their existing garage into an in-law apartment said Adam took over the job after a year of dead ends with a previous contractor and was perfectly willing to start from scratch to get the permits. In a 2023 review, a customer who hired Adam Mitchell to remodel their bathroom said he assured them they did not need a permit, sent workers to cover the walls with sheetrock instead of blue board, and intended to close the wall without addressing issues including a live wire. Another 2023 reviewer said a project that was supposed to take three months had dragged on for almost two years and was still not finished, and that the profanity and name-calling started when they refused to give more money. In a 2020 review, a customer said he never finished the job and yelled and swore at them and their family, and wrote that a major beam was sagging and causing cracks in their walls. In a 2019 BuildZoom review, a customer said the individual who represented himself as the owner, Adam Mitchell, provided a written offer contract but refused to do the work, and each time he scheduled to do work failed to come to the property. Its MA HIC licence, 172728, is active on the state registry; the registry's holder of record is Henry A. Mitchell Jr. Its BBB grade is A+.
