Sixty-four ratings on Angi averaging 4.4, and the same first name runs through nearly all of them: Adam. Liberty Construction & Landscape works out of 95 Hayward Road in East Bridgewater and says it has been building and landscaping in Plymouth County since 1987 — 39 years by its own count — though what customers actually write about is additions and siding, not gardens. The last two years read consistently. A homeowner writing in June 2026 described an addition with a master bedroom, bathroom and office. Another, in October 2025, described a two-stage project at $210,000: a basement bathroom first, then a full in-law apartment with a high-ceilinged basement. In April 2025 a customer described a basement bathroom carved out of unused space, tile and paint included. Siding customers say much the same — a January 2024 reviewer replacing cedar shingles on a colonial at $28,000 noted a small crew dedicated to the job rather than a revolving cast, daily cleanup, and a schedule that ran long because of weather. BuildZoom's permit history matches that shape: 11 permitted projects, mostly single-family additions in Plymouth, Hanson and Hingham between 2021 and 2024, several valued between $100,000 and $200,000. Then there is the part that matters most. Two 2023 accounts are specific and serious. A customer who hired Adam Mitchell for a bathroom remodel wrote that she was told no permit was needed, that sheetrock went up instead of blue board, that live wires were left exposed, and that mold on the insulation and a rotten supporting 4x4 were about to be closed into the wall — and that the walls were sealed without an inspector seeing the bathroom. The second, on a $110,000 addition, described a three-month job that ran close to two years, repeated pressure to sign a new contract at a higher price, name-calling by phone, and a police report before work restarted. A 2019 review on BuildZoom is a smaller version of the same complaint: a signed $2,500 landscaping contract the reviewer says was never performed. Nothing that severe appears in the reviews since, and 2024 through 2026 is uniformly positive. Even so, those accounts set the questions worth asking before signing: who pulls the permits and when inspections happen, what the payment schedule is and what triggers each draw, and who specifically will be on site. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for the company and says it verified it as active in July 2026 — check that number against the state register yourself. For an addition or a siding replacement on the South Shore, the recent run is consistent and reviewers name the crew by name. Put the permit plan and the payment schedule in writing first.
I cannot say enough great things about Liberty Construction. The owner Adam goes above and beyond the call of duty! The pricing is more the fare and all his crews are very professional, knowledgeable and do awesome craftsmanship. I added an addition on to my home with a master bedroom, bathroom and office and it came out beautiful. I highly recommend this company and I know in the future if I need anything else done, who I'm calling again. Thank you Adam to you and your crew for making my home beautiful.
Adam and his team are outstanding. We built in two stages, adding a basement bathroom, removed a wall and all tge finishing work that goes with it! This was done beautifully! Six months later I had a full addition ( in law apartment) full basement with high ceilings, and tge main house is stunning! It doesn't feel like an in-law apartment, cathedral ceiling, giant bathroom, all the comforts of home Adam was quick to respond to all my concerns, he always answered his phone and if I didn't like something he was quick to fix it. I would highly recommend Liberty construction- you won't be disappointed!

Adam and his crew are fantastic! They did a great job adding a bathroom to our basement and helped to make an unused space into something much more functional. From the tile work to the paint color, everything looked great and was done in a very reasonable timeframe. Adam was always easy to reach and everyone on the crew was friendly and helpful. We will continue to use Liberty for future projects and look forward to working with Adam again!
