We had our home inspected and were initially pleased with how it was conducted and attitude of our inspector. After we moved in, we discovered several things that should have been caught that were either irresponsibly overlooked or ignored. 1. Our dryer outlet had no power to it. The inspector claimed that they do not have the means to safely check it. I have since discovered that other companies do. We found the wires that provide power to the dryer outlet sitting at the bottom of our main break enclosure, disconnected. This could also be very plainly seen in pictures provided in our report taken by the inspector. 2. We had a water test fail that affected our closing date. This was also on our realtor, but it was not pointed out as an issue in our report. We were just given numbers. 3. Several fire safety issues in the house were discovered after closing that cost us hundreds of dollars to meet code. The inspection seemed thorough at the time during discussions with our inspector and realtor. However, with all of the problems we found ourselves, I am not convinced that we should have had to pay the kind of money we did for the service provided.

Josh was very helpful assisting my first time homebuyer's with their home inspection in Hudson, NH. He was honest and informative while also making sure they understood how to address some of the issues, so they weren't as scary. He is not an alarmist, rather offers practical solutions that buyers can do on their own. He used a great gadget that had a moisture reader to help see if there were any leaks behind walls we couldn't see with the naked eye. He climbed up on his ladder to look at the roof, the gutters, and vents. He also climbed up into the attic to explore that space, despite it being difficult to reach. Thanks Josh!
