A recent customer said a call to the office came first, where Maye outlined the process and pricing; Kevin then came out for a site inspection and made recommendations for the front and backyard lighting. Sean and Kevin set the lights up to view at night so small changes could be made, and 1–2 days later came back to bury all the wires once the customer signed off on the locations and number of lights. They also coordinated with their electrician to install a needed outlet and transformer, and that customer said the whole process took less than 10 days. A 2022 reviewer from Easton wrote that they met with Kevin and his son, and that Lightscapes installed the lights temporarily so they could experience the lighting and make changes before the final installation. That 2022 reviewer also described an automatic timing system put in by the company's electricians and a 2 year guarantee. In a 2024 review, a customer who built a home in Westport said the plan lit the front of the house and focused on specimen trees and old growth in the backyard, and that the company continued to service the system when a bulb needed replacing or a light was toppled by a falling limb. A 2022 customer said Kevin helped plan the landscape lighting and responded to issues such as redigging a wire. A recent customer gave one star on Google and wrote, "Never again. Terrible experience with the owner."
