After a nor'easter in October 2026, a Google reviewer's guests at a seasonal rental on Mount Desert Island reported a second-floor leak. The reviewer wrote that LMC was at the house within 24 hours and had the repair in place in a couple of hours, and that Luis and his team also ran a structural integrity study of the roof and handed over a detailed report with photos for an insurance claim. In September 2026 another Google reviewer wrote that Luis and his crew replaced their roof the next business day, communicated through the whole job and added drip edge to every roof line. In December 2024 a Google reviewer called for an estimate on a garage roof; they were there 45 minutes later, came back a week later, and stripped, shingled and cleaned up in 3 hours. In March 2025 a reviewer wrote that the technician made a second visit to check the bid and said one portion of the roof did not need work, and another that month had two roofs — theirs and a neighbor's — done in three days before a solar install. Highly recommend this crew. They are incredibly skilled and get the job done. Professional, easy to work with, and a pleasure to be around. Our roof looks great. Clean up was thorough and complete. We plan to ask them to do some more for us when the time comes.
Has Luis and his team over to our seasonal rental home on Mount Desert Island after a recent Nor- Easter when our guests advised us that the second floor had a leak from the steady rains and winds over a three day stretch. Made the call to LMC and they were out to the house within 24 hours and had the repair in place in a couple of hours, restoring safety to the house and peace of mind to the home owner. They even took the time to conduct a structural integrity study on the overall condition of the roof and provided us with a detailed report that gives us a road map to preservation suggestions with documented photos which we can showcase to our home owners insurance provider that easily qualify for a claim due to recent storms over the previous couple of season which we obviously could not detect with the naked eye from the ground. We are grateful to the team at LMC for their attention to detail and will be having them out to handle the upgrades once we have filed the claim and received approval from our insurance provider. We are very pleased with LMC. They gave us a thorough review of our review and were able to get the job done the next business day. Luis and his crew were professional from start to finish. They communicated through the whole job, which was so important because we had to work when they were replacing our roof. They worked very hard and cleaned up our property very well. We are also impressed with their workmanship. They added drip edge to every roof line and drastically improved our roof and home. We paid LMC Home Remodeling Inc. a deposit to replace the siding on our home. Nearly a year later, no work has been completed. During that time, our project was delayed repeatedly with various explanations. After almost a year, the owner visited our home and told us the project would now cost approximately 50% more than the original agreed-upon price. We declined to move forward under those new terms and requested the return of our deposit. As of the date of this review, our deposit has not been returned, and the company has stopped responding to our phone calls, emails, and messages. This review reflects our personal experience. We hope this matter is resolved promptly, but based on our experience, we cannot recommend LMC Home Remodeling Inc. 8/10/2026 Final Update: LMC Home Remodeling Inc. came to our home today and returned our full deposit in cash. They also returned the replacement piece of siding that had been removed for color matching. We appreciate that they have now resolved this matter.
Have to update. When they reconnected one of the outside lights, they nicked a wire which caused a power outage inside the house. It’s a $500 electric bill because I finally caved and had the electrician come. I asked them if they would pay it to make things right, but they still haven’t. Such great hard work and competitive pricing! The house looks a bazillion times better. They worked quickly but carefully to insulate and side around several tricky spots (heat pumps, electric boxes, lights, many windows). I’d rather a good job than a quick job. Also one area of the siding was rotted or completely missing. They repaired and removed the old rotted siding and added extra insulation. I requested one other inset area to be made flush and they totally got the assignment. Looks much better. One light wasn’t working when it was put back up and they immediately fixed it the next day. The materials are quality and they installed as soon as temperatures were appropriate to not risk cracking the vinyl. All around great experience. Now I want them to wrap the windows and do the porch soffit. Thanks Kyle and the team!
