Lofty Builders works out of 21 N Montello Street in Brockton and is hired for design-build renovation work — kitchens, baths, basements and decks on the residential side, plus commercial build-outs and multifamily unit turns. The company says it keeps design, material supply, stone fabrication and carpentry in-house rather than juggling subcontractors, and names Andre Mai as its founder and Sean Enright as president. By its own account the general contracting arm launched in 2021 and now operates under a unified Lofty Built brand alongside sister companies that supply materials and fabricate stone. The homeowner record is short but consistent. Google shows a 5-star average across four ratings, and the three written reviews, all from 2024, describe finished work rather than sales impressions. One homeowner wrote that their kitchen had just been redone, that they could not be happier, and that changing their mind mid-project was handled with ease. An interior designer who has worked with many tradespeople described every member of the team as detailed, communicative and understanding from the first design conversations through execution, and said that when something did not go as planned they made sure the end vision was met. Two things are worth raising before you sign. The Better Business Bureau grades the business A but does not accredit it, and lists one complaint on file that was not resolved; that BBB file sits under the sister entity Lofty Homes, alternate name General Pacific, LLC, at the same Brockton address, is categorised under Building Materials, and dates the business to June 2018 — so ask which legal entity your contract is actually with. The company also publishes its own licence and registration numbers, HIC #195530, CSL #117468, LR #4723 and HP #241914; those are the company's statements rather than registry-verified facts, so ask to see the licences and check them with the state before work starts. This is a reasonable call for a homeowner around Brockton and Boston who wants one team carrying a kitchen or bath from design through countertops and installation. Confirm the contracting entity, verify the licence numbers, and ask how the earlier complaint was resolved.
Just had my kitchen redone, couldnt be happier. I changed my mind on something mid project and they handled it with ease.
Contractors get a bad rep for lack of communication, not being timely, and incomplete jobs. I’ve worked with my fair share of tradespeople as an interior designer and I have nothing but good things to say about the entire team at Lofty. From initial conversations in the design and idea phase to the final implementation and execution phase, every single member was extremely detailed, communicative , and understanding. They worked with changes along the way and when something did not go as planned (as can be expected with any project) , they all made sure my end vision was met. I felt like the team cared about their craftsmanship and the mark they were leaving on my personal family home project. It was a pleasure to work with them and it won’t be my last project with Lofty!
