New Vision Enterprise

New Vision Enterprise works at the scale of whole buildings, not single rooms. In June 2025 the state's asset-management agency, DCAMM, designated the Brockton firm to redevelop 36 Main Street downtown into 35 units of housing; a report on the sale says the property is expected to return to the city's tax rolls once that work is done. Its principal, Joseph Goncalves, turns up in a July 2024 Enterprise story about RingSide Residences on Petronelli Way, where he won approval to scale the building from six stories to five, with 46 apartments instead of 50, after interest rates and construction costs moved. Not everything has landed. In December 2024 the Bay State Banner reported that New Vision was the only bidder for 11-15 Frederick Douglass Ave and that the housing proposal went nowhere — the article's subject is the Brockton Redevelopment Authority rather than the builder, but the project is named. One thing to raise directly: BuildZoom lists the company's Massachusetts Asbestos Contractor licence, number AC001071, as expired since 11-04-2022 and at one point cancelled. That is the directory's record, not a state verification we ran, so ask which licences are current before any demolition or abatement scope — and ask for addresses of finished buildings you can go and look at.
