LP Custom Countertops & Cabinetry

LP Custom Countertops & Cabinetry runs a showroom in Mansfield, Massachusetts, doing custom countertops and cabinetry for kitchens and bathrooms across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and beyond. The business is owned by Pablo and Layara, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license (193080) is active and registry-verified. 38 reviews since 2021 describe the same showroom process again and again: a design consultant — most often Layara, and Daniela or Daniealla in earlier years — walks a customer through slab and quartz options before an install crew finishes the job, usually within days. In an August 2026 review, a customer credited Layara with helping match new kitchen countertops to existing tile; in a June 2026 review, another described marble vanity tops installed in two bathrooms with a custom edge; in a 2022 review, a customer had a 1970s bathroom converted from a tub to a walk-in shower and picked materials with Daniela's help in the showroom. One customer, in a 2023 review, said they had used LP for kitchens in Rhode Island and New York in addition to Massachusetts. Not every job has gone smoothly: in a March 2024 review, a customer said they were given less than 24 hours to choose an edge profile from crude, unprofessional drawings and were unhappy with the result — the same complaint appears on both Google and Houzz that day, and it's the only review behind Houzz's 1-star average. Google's much larger review base, 65 ratings averaging 4.9 stars, tells a very different story. For a kitchen or bathroom countertop and cabinetry project in the Mansfield area, this is a well-reviewed, licensed showroom with a long track record; it's worth asking upfront how much time you'll get to finalize edge and design choices before installation, given the one negative account on file.
