MacKenzie Design Build

MacKenzie Design Build is a general contractor working out of Hingham. A 2011 Patriot Ledger article profiled Mackenzie, a Hingham mother who had then been a nurse at Brigham and Women's Hospital for 27 years. She had started an interior design business 15 years before that piece ran, and the paper wrote that she had slowly built a reputation as a general contractor with an eye for careful additions to historic homes. On Google the business has a 5-star rating from one customer. A Hingham-area homeowner planning an addition or a design-and-build project can start here: ask to see recent completed jobs and talk to the people who hired them, and confirm the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration and insurance before work begins.
