Macombers' Electricians

Macombers' Electricians is a Marblehead, Massachusetts electrical contractor that's been family-owned and operated since 1951, now run by its third generation, offering troubleshooting, installations, HVAC controls, EV charger installs, and smart home integration. On Google, it holds a 4.3-star average from 13 ratings. The seven reviews on file, from 2023 through mid-2026, describe a team that consistently sorts out tricky problems, especially in older homes — one customer, describing the business as solving "every electrical challenge this old house dishes out," praises them as courteous, knowledgeable and fair. Another says they've known the team for over 20 years and remained consistently impressed by their trade knowledge and work ethic. Specific jobs include an EV charger install by Chad that a customer called clean, efficient and extremely professional, an outlet moved quickly and cleaned up after at a reasonable price, and a same-day visit from Rick to diagnose an electrical problem, described as professional, patient and knowledgeable. There isn't a large volume of written reviews, but every one on file is five stars, and recent activity (one review in the last six months) is positive too. For troubleshooting an older home's wiring, an EV charger install, or general electrical work in the Marblehead area, this is a long-established, family-run electrician with a consistently strong record.
