Stefy's Electric LLC is a Salem shop that owner Zach built from a one-man operation into a full team — a 2023 review recalls "I started using Stefy before he had an entire team" — and the arc shows across 33 Google reviews running from 2021 into 2026 (4.9★ from 66 ratings). The through-line is speed under pressure: storm damage, a power outage mid-restaurant-opening, a line ripped off a house — the calls where showing up fast matters most. Multiple reviewers describe emergency response specifically: one had a power line torn off the house by a storm and had a technician on-site within the hour of calling; another, running a brand-new restaurant, says Zach was there in about 10 minutes when the power cut out mid-service. Beyond emergencies, the record covers a wide range of planned work — a 240V EV charger install, a knob-and-tube evaluation for a MassSave weatherization program, a hot tub electrical hookup, and the wiring for a full kitchen remodel. One reviewer specifically noted the final bill matched the original estimate with no add-on charges. One 2024 review breaks the pattern: a customer describes a missed scheduled appointment and no follow-up call afterward, calling the experience unprofessional. It's the lone complaint in an otherwise long, consistent run of positive accounts, echoed by a handful of Reddit posts in r/SalemMA recommending the company by name. BBB records a Massachusetts electrical contractor license (#22805) with an expiration of 7/31/2028 — that's the directory's record of the license, not an independently verified one — and shows the company as not accredited with no BBB rating on file. For anything from a routine upgrade to a middle-of-the-night outage, this is a deep, mostly consistent record to draw from; worth asking directly about scheduling given the one dropped-appointment account.

If you’re looking for a licensed electrician near Salem Ma or anywhere in Greater Boston, I highly recommend Stefy’s Electric. Fast response, professional service, clean work, and fair pricing. They handled our electrical job perfectly. Easily one of the best electricians serving Salem and Greater Boston!
We had a long list of small and small-ish electrical improvements that took 2 full days. Ian was a great project manager, and he kept his 2 assistants busy and productive. In some instances he proposed solutions involving new technologies that we didn't know existed. They were all pleasant to have in our home, and they cleaned up after themselves pretty well, which should be common but isn't. Owner Zach and this team are young, smart, and do great work. They are our electricians for life, although I suspect they will be increasingly busy.
I sincerely thank Zach, Stefy's Electric LLC, for their excellent service and professionalism. They recently helped me dismount and remount my TV, and the entire process was handled smoothly and efficiently. Although there was a misunderstanding about the initial cost, Zach was responsive and fair in resolving the matter. We agreed on a final amount of $250, and I truly appreciate their willingness to honor a reasonable price. The quality of their work was top-notch, and their technicians were both courteous and skilled. I highly recommend Stefy's Electric LLC to anyone looking for reliable and professional electrical services. I will definitely reach out to them again for future needs!
Stefy's Electrical did an excellent job with my project. I am having a small addition to my house torn down for a bulkhead replacement. I asked they disconnect the electrical lines and tear out the light fixture and outdoor outlet. They not only disconnected, but labeled the ends of the lines for any future use, and used putty to seal off the outside to the elements. Excellent work.
Thank you for the great job your electricians did on our three projects. They were right on time, were professional, explained everything they were doing, and left the place even cleaner than they found it. And our initial call to set up the appointment was also great—the person we spoke with couldn’t have been more helpful. We will definitely call Stefy’s again!
