Macuch Painting, Inc.

Billy Macuch started this Bourne painting company in 2009 with a truck and a ladder, and the site says it has grown into several crews working Upper Cape Cod and the South Coast. The work is interior and exterior painting, plus custom painting of doors, cabinets and furniture, property-management painting, gutter cleaning and power washing. Customers talk about the prep as much as the paint. A September 2024 reviewer described detailed preparation, good paint products and a final cleanup, and a company that communicates and stays responsive. In December 2024 a homeowner had every room of a newly bought cape repainted and called the result a transformation, with the crew praised for being clean and neat. The longer-running customers are the property-side ones. A 2021 reviewer had used Billy and his team for many commercial and residential projects over five years and said they always knew what to expect — timely, organised and consistent at a competitive price. Another that year called the crew dependable and said they had referred them to friends. Two things to sort out before booking. Only four written accounts are on file, from 2021 through 2024, so there is a modest amount to go on. And the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration in the state registry, number 168597 under MACUCH PAINTING & CARPENTRY, is recorded as expired — worth asking where that stands if your job needs a registered contractor. For an interior or exterior repaint on the Upper Cape where prep and cleanup matter, this is a straightforward call. Ask which crew is assigned, what preparation is included, and get the paint products named in the quote.
