Hyannis Painting is a Cape Cod outfit that homeowners keep calling back — the same name, Roberto Franco, and members of his crew (Marlon, Mike) show up across years of reviews, and so do repeat customers: people mention hiring the company a second, third, even fourth time. Based around Hyannis, the crew handles interior and exterior painting jobs across the Cape, from Chatham to Sandwich to Cotuit, and the company's Google page carries 191 ratings averaging 5 stars. What people who actually hired them keep describing is the prep work, not just the paint. Reviewers mention sanding and caulking trim before a coat goes on, fixing wall imperfections, and applying a third coat when a job called for it. A Cotuit homeowner who chose Hyannis Painting over two other bidders, in an October 2025 review, credited competitive pricing and a responsive process; a more recent customer said they got three quotes before hiring the company because it was by far the most reasonably priced option. The pattern holds on repeat jobs too — a customer hiring the crew for a fourth time, in an October 2025 review, described the same communicative, on-time habits they'd seen the first time around. Beyond straight painting, a number of reviews describe the crew coordinating wood-rot repair and carpentry alongside the paint job — replacing damaged clapboards and trim, patching holes left by swapped light fixtures. A 2024 review named a carpentry affiliate, Marlon of Hyannis Pro Carpentry, brought in to replace rotted wood so the painting schedule didn't stall. A recent review described a jetwashed 20-year-old porch and a fifteen-foot interior hallway finished in under three days. There isn't much else to flag. The written record runs from 2021 through this summer — twenty-five reviews in just the last six months — and none of them describe a real complaint: no pricing disputes, no missed schedules, no callback issues. That kind of consistency across dozens of independent, specific accounts over five years is worth noting on its own. For a Cape Cod homeowner weighing an interior or exterior paint job, especially one that also needs some wood repair first, this is a well-documented option — just confirm current pricing and scheduling directly with Roberto before booking.

If I could give Roberto and his company, Hyannis Painting more than five stars, I absolutely would! From our very first conversation, Roberto was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. It's clear that he takes immense pride in his work, and that level of care shows in every detail. The quality of the painting is simply outstanding. Every line is crisp, every surface is flawless, and the finished result exceeded my expectations. Roberto and his team treated my home with the utmost respect, worked meticulously, kept everything clean, and completed the project on time. Their craftsmanship is second to none. What truly sets Roberto apart is his integrity and commitment to excellence. He genuinely cares that his customers are happy, and it shows in everything he does. Finding a contractor you can completely trust is rare these days, but Roberto is exactly that. He is the kind of professional you recommend without hesitation to family and friends. Thank you, Roberto, for transforming my home. You are the best, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I look forward to working with you again and wholeheartedly recommend your company to anyone looking for exceptional quality, service and great pricing!
Roberto Franco from Hyannis Painting gave us a good low estimate for jetwashing our 20-year old porch and painting a hallway in the house that in some places is fifteen feet high and had several layers of paint on it. His assistant Ricardo did both jobs in well under three days, and he not only painted the hallway but also patched, smoothed and painted the ceiling as well and came in just below the estimate. We are very, very happy with the results and with the care they took while working.
My brother and I manage two family properties in Chatham: a house and a summer cottage. Both needed exterior painting, and the cottage had to be finished before the first tenant arrived in June. Hyannis Painting came highly recommended by a neighbor, so we hired them to paint both properties. Coordinating the project was challenging because I live in Michigan and my brother lives in the UK. Roberto was excellent from the start. He listened carefully to our concerns, questions and the need to have the cottage prepare for the June rental. Roberto is organized and replied to our questions accurately and in a timely manner. Roberto was there to support us from afar during each step of the painting process coordinating his crew with power washing and preparing the house and cottage for painting. Roberto arranged for a carpenter to replace all damage or rotten wood and have a cleaner power wash the roof and brick walkway to remove mold. The results exceeded our expectations. The crews arrived ready to work on time, left the properties clean and had respect for the properties during the job. Both my brother and I are extremely satisfied with Hyannis Painting and highly recommend them for your next painting job. Jay W Chatham
