Do NOT use this company- they Are a scam- way overcharge and only fixed two springs and charged Me $550 in labor. One person one hour!! Stay away!’n.
I'm not too confident about this company. After making a down payment for a door, I learned that the person who came to install it is a subcontractor. Nothing against subcontractors, other than arriving two hours after the appointed time. without a phone call. Halfway through the installation, he discovered that the panel, which was supposed to have two windows, was not included. The panel he put in its place had a significant dent along the lower seam. I've tried contacting the company twice without success. Now, after four days of waiting for a return call, I've decided to post this review. I am about to take complete control of this project and install the door myself. I am sure that my down payment covers the subcontractor's wage and pays for the materials left behind. That's not the way to conduct business.
I should have done my research and shopped around more. The good news is that Magic replaced my spring and torsion bar in a day. The bad news is that they overcharged me a LOT. Tony was sure that the internal spring was broken. (It was not ). He said it would cost $1000 to replace the torsion rod and spring. I questioned the price and he said the parts alone were $800. I trusted him and agreed to the service. When he showed up with the parts I realized I had been had. (See the photo.) I checked prices and found that Home Depot carries the springs for $60, and 8' torsion rods (not at the Depot) go for $100. Ouch. The replacement took them about 7 hours because the techs did not have the right tools. They had to leave for more parts and tools twice, and I had to lend them some of my own tools. They didn't even have a Philips screwdriver in their bag. The door works better now, but if I had to do it over I would not have chosen Magic.
To my dismay, I discovered that there was a problem with my garage door. This expert in garage doors came to my property, assessed the situation, and made the necessary adjustments immediately. My garage door is operating as smoothly as it did when it was first installed, and all at a fair fee and with a pleasant technician. If you need any help with your garage doors, I highly suggest you contact this garage door expert.
I had a great experience with this garage door specialist. They were able to come out and fix my broken garage door for a very reasonable rate. I highly recommend them!
