Maid To Clean is a house-cleaning service whose website lists Jamaica, Roxbury, Hyde Park, Dedham, Dorchester, Cambridge, Newton and Needham as its service area. The company says it has been in business 30 years and gives its quotes after a free in-home estimate. A 2025 Reddit commenter in r/jamaicaplain reported paying about $150 for biweekly cleaning of a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment. A 2024 commenter in r/newtonma called its prices very fair and recommended it. In 2022, an r/boston commenter said they regularly used Maid to Clean at home and also referred clients to it for one-off jobs. A recent Google reviewer said that after an in-person visit and a quote, they called, texted and emailed three times over the next week to set up a cleaning and never heard back.
“Have had a good experience with Maid to Clean. ~$150 for biweekly cleaning of a 2bd/1ba apartment.”

“They do excellent work and their prices are very fair. Highly recommend!”
“^ I second Maid to Clean, and believe they will do one-off jobs. I regularly use them at my home but also refer clients to them for one off jobs.”
“We are very happy with Maid to Clean, in terms of pricing and quality of work. I don't know if they do a one-time cleaning or if they just clean for regular clients. https://go.thryv.com/site/maidtocleanboston”
I recently broke my arm, and I have a 1 year old. Sent them an email and called them looking for biweekly cleaning. Got a call back a few days saying they need an in-person visit to give me a quote. Took time off work to meet the person. She was a little late, spent 30 minutes going through everything describing what they'd do to clean everything. All seems fine. Gives me a quote that seems fine. I try to confirm and set up a first cleaning. She absolutely insists I talk it over with my wife first. Feels a touch sexist but fine. Talk to my wife that evening, she confirms. Call, text, and email them 3 times over the next week looking to set up a cleaning, and they completely ghost me. Never heard back from them. Huge waste of time. Why bother insisting on scheduling, coming to my house, and giving me a quote, if you're just going to go radio silent?
Wonderful people to have the pleasure of having my place cleaned.
