Mariotte Construction & Remodeling Inc.

Guilherme and his crew took on a July 2026 job with a deck that needed bringing up to code and steps rotten enough, the customer wrote, to easily cause an accident. They rebuilt both and finished much earlier than the customer expected. Mariotte Construction & Remodeling describes itself as a small, family-run general contractor with a hands-on crew, replacing windows and doors, installing siding, building decks and handling carpentry and interior renovations across Worcester County, MetroWest and Greater Boston. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #216267, is active on the state registry under Mariotte Construction and Remodeling. Eight reviews since January 2024 sit behind it, across Google and Thumbtack, and the concrete ones are exterior carpentry. That January, a Thumbtack customer had a new window installed along with siding and trim and called the company efficient and responsible. The following May, another had exterior trim replaced and found the crew responsive and easy to communicate with. Tidiness comes up three times on Thumbtack — one customer said they took care of everything and cleaned up afterward, another called the work very neat, a third described them as fast and clean. On Nextdoor in July 2026, a Marlborough neighbor recommended the company and said it had completed a few projects for them. The platforms don't line up exactly: three Google ratings average five stars, while Thumbtack's seven average 4.4 and include one one-star. For a deck, a set of rotten steps, exterior trim, siding or a window swap handled by a deliberately small crew, this is a reasonable call to make. Ask who will be on site day to day, and get the scope and the finish date down in writing before the work starts.
