Mark-A-Lot is a Holbrook, Massachusetts pavement marking and paving contractor that says on its own website it was founded by Fred Foley in 1969; the company is family-owned, and its Better Business Bureau profile lists David P. Foley and Frederick W. Foley as its management, with 57 years in business. The most pressing thing to know is recent: two July 2026 Google reviews describe company vans driving aggressively, with one reviewer saying a van tried to push them off the road and another saying a driver tried to run them off the road. In an April 2025 review, a neighbor said work started before 7am, when construction noise isn't permitted. That sits alongside an older, more positive history. In a 2023 review, a customer praised the straightness of the company's painted lines, and in a 2022 review, someone described an employee at a property Mark-A-Lot maintains finding and turning in a lost wallet. The Better Business Bureau gives the company an A+ grade, and its website lists pavement marking, parking-lot maintenance, sweeping, sealcoating, recreational-court work, and asphalt repair as its services. For a striping or paving job, the older accounts point to careful, precise work, but the two July 2026 complaints about aggressive driving are worth asking about directly before hiring.
