Marlborough Lawn and Tree takes down trees, and the account to read first is a recent one. A Google customer said a miscalculation while taking down the tree with the most limited space sent it into the customer's shed and a neighbor's ladder. That customer said the ladder was replaced after seven months, and that over a year later the shed still had not been fixed or replaced, despite a promise to do so. In a 2025 review, a customer said Dan removed a huge dead tree at the top of the property plus several other trees and branches, and that all the trees and debris were taken away. A 2025 reviewer wrote that the company was hired to take down several trees, including some very big ones close to the house, and that the cleanup afterward was thorough. A 2025 customer said the company took down two front-yard trees and ground the stumps, doing the job two days after the contract was finalized. A 2024 customer said two huge trees were cut down and all the debris was removed. A 2023 reviewer said that when a tree fell in the reviewer's parents' house during winter storms, the company was there to help immediately. In a 2022 review, a customer wrote that Dale and Dan Drum had taken care of the lawn, tree removal and fall clean-up for many years. A 2020 Reddit commenter said they had used the company and called it great.
“You can call Marlborough Lawn and Tree and see if they will go out that far. It's who i used. They are great.”

Hired Marlborough Lawn and Tree to take down a few trees. One of which was in a tricky spot. They got all the trees down but while taking down the one with the most limited space he made a miscalculation and the tree took out my shed and my neighbors ladder. 5 trees took 2 days to take down and remove. Finally after 7 months he finally replaced my neighbors ladder. Over a year later despite saying he would fix or replace my shed, I am left without a shed. And no response for several months.
I just had Dan come and remove a huge dead tree that was at the top of my property plus several other trees and branches. He was reliable. He was professional. All the trees and debris were taken away. The yard was cleaned up and he was very caring. Since I had just lost my husband, he went out of his way to make sure that it was safe that no branches would fall down and I would not have to worry about them. So if you're looking for someone who is reasonably priced and honest, I would give Dan of Marlborough lawn and tree service a call. I highly recommend him.
We hired Marlborough Lawn and Tree to take down several trees, including some very big ones close to the house. Dan did an exceptional job taking these trees down safely and with perfect precision. After taking down the trees, they did a thorough job with cleanup. Dan and his crew are hard workers, and the quality of their work was outstanding. Their pricing was fair, and Dan went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the result. We would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to friends and family.
Highly recommended! We hired Marlborough Lawn and Tree to take down two trees in our front yard and grind the stumps. They were reasonably priced and fast... they were able to do the job two days after finalizing the contract! And we were pleased with the work as it was all done safely and efficiently, and they did a great job with the cleanup too.
I highly recommend Marlborough Tree Service. Dan was a pleasure to work with...good communication, prompt and very efficient and reasonabley priced. After having 2 huge trees cut down they removed all debris and cleaned up my yard. Would definitely use them again.
