No state license for this trade. Maine doesn't license or register masonrybusinesses, so there's no state registry to check. That's true of every masonry business in the state, not a mark against this one. Insurance is self-reported.

Masonry Done Wright describes itself on Houzz as a full-service residential and light commercial masonry contractor focused on custom fireplaces, chimneys, hearths, stone veneer, restoration and concrete countertops. Its own website lists stone or brick fireplaces, chimney renovations, historic restoration, patios and walkways, and tile work. Its BBB profile says the company was established in Maine in 1994, employs one person, and names Rodney D. Wright as its owner. A 2022 Google reviewer wrote that they had been "on the white board" since fall 2021 and that every call pushed the job back another season. That 2022 reviewer also said the company answered only about 10% of the time and gave them attitude.

Horrible contractor. We've been "on the white board," as their staff likes to put it, since Fall 2021. Every time we call they kick it back another season, and that's the 10% of the time they answer. They love to give you attitude too, like you're the one inconveniencing them! What a joke. Save yourself the hassle and take a few seconds to find someone else, these guys are third rate.
