Masscoast Landscape is really an irrigation outfit. Every written account of it concerns a lawn sprinkler system — designing one, installing one, and what happened afterwards. The installation itself is not what customers complained about. In a 2022 review, a homeowner who was otherwise unhappy still called Lenny a competent irrigation contractor, and another that April described the crew as knowledgeable, hardworking and honest. BBB records the business as trading since 2000 with three employees and lists William Wollerscheid as its president. What went wrong, in three of the four accounts on file, came after the system was in. The same 2022 customer who credited the install said he would not use a telephone and communicated only by email, which left them unable to raise problems in real time when the system was not working well. Another April 2022 reviewer said calls and emails went unreturned and that service on their lawn irrigation system suddenly stopped. A June 2022 customer wrote that after years as a client they were dropped, that several emails and calls went unanswered across two years, and that the system the company had installed was left not working. All four accounts date from 2022 and nothing has been written since, so this describes how the business ran four years ago rather than how it necessarily runs now. Google's own average sits at 2.8 across five ratings. If you are considering them for an irrigation install, settle the after-care first: ask how service calls are handled, through which channel, and get the response commitment in writing before anything is signed.
