Massey Construction Corp.

Massey Construction is a family-owned Swampscott general contractor that says it's been building on the North Shore since 1996, and the reviews back up the tenure — 39 Google ratings averaging 4.9 stars, a Massachusetts HIC registration verified active, and a BBB A+ record spanning 29 years in business. Most reviews are short but consistent: crew lead Trevor and contractor Jeff both come up by name across multiple jobs from different customers, and several reviewers mention using Massey more than once — for both personal projects and, in one case, a commercial job. The more detailed accounts describe real range: in a 2025 review, one homeowner said a bathroom Jeff oversaw 'belongs in a magazine,' and in a 2022 review, another described in-home structural repairs delivered with a timely, detail-oriented approach. In a 2023 review, one customer thanked the 'Massey Plumbing and Heating team' after having tried three other plumbing companies first. Communication and scheduling are the recurring themes across dozens of reviews — customers repeatedly describe projects finishing on time and management staying responsive to questions throughout. The one exception: in a 2022 review, a customer called the way workers and the owner interacted with the public 'disrespectful' and 'disgraceful,' without describing a specific job or incident. For a kitchen or bathroom remodel, a structural repair, or general contracting work on the North Shore, Massey has a long, mostly consistent record behind it; the one blunt complaint on file is worth keeping in mind, though it stands alone against years of specific, repeat-customer praise.
