Maione Plumbing and Heating

Called at 9 a.m., at the house by 10:30 to replace a water heater: that is how a May 2026 Google review describes Anthony at Maione Plumbing and Heating in Salem. The company holds 5 stars from 28 Google ratings, and its site describes residential plumbing repairs, water heater replacement and heating upgrades including oil-to-gas conversions and radiant heat. Water heaters and boilers come up again and again, often on short notice. In a March 2026 review, a customer whose Navien water heater two earlier plumbers had failed to fix said Anthony knew what was wrong and came that evening, and later installed a recirculating line and fixed their water pressure. A December 2023 customer whose water heater broke late on a Friday had him on site a couple of hours after reaching out the next morning, with a temporary fix and a quote for a new unit. In November 2022, two customers described boilers diagnosed and fixed, one of them on a Saturday in mid-November. The work goes beyond repairs. A November 2025 reviewer said he installed a second water meter and replaced their heating system; a September 2023 customer said he renovated a bathroom from the studs, installed a range, and recommended replacing the anode rods in a water heater rather than the whole unit. A December 2022 customer had a new combi heater installed and old basement pipes replaced, and a June 2022 customer had an outdoor shower put in. Several customers mention his explanations: a July 2023 reviewer said he walked them through everything he fixed.
