Master Roof

Master Roof is a Milford, MA roofing company now in its second generation — founded in 2004 by Wilson Valdez, with his son Paul now running day-to-day alongside him — and the name has become locally recognizable enough that one reviewer says simply, "we see their trucks everywhere." That local reputation got a public boost in late 2025, when a Franklin-area news outlet reported the company donating and installing a full lifetime-guaranteed roofing system for Milford's Daily Bread Food Pantry; the pantry itself later left a review thanking the team directly for the work. The written record backs up the reputation. Google shows 4.9 stars across 179 ratings, Angi 4.9 across 46, and the company holds a Massachusetts home improvement contractor license verified active by the state, plus a BBB A+ grade going back to 2015. Reviewers across several years describe fast turnarounds on emergencies — snow cleared off a roof within 24 hours of a call, an ice dam leaking into a living room addressed the same day it was reported, and storm-damaged sections tarped immediately while the company helped push an insurance claim through. On the sales side, more than one recent review describes a thorough, no-pressure walkthrough before any work starts; one from late 2025 describes a salesperson inspecting the roof by drone and calculating the surface area with GPS before running through material options. The bulk of the work described is full roof replacement and repair — asphalt shingles, some jobs on century-old houses needing extra plywood decking — along with gutters and gutter guards, skylight installation, and chimney flashing repair, which the company's Better Business Bureau listing also names as a standard service. Crews are repeatedly described as clean, with reviewers specifically noting no stray nails left behind after a tear-off. For a Milford-area homeowner needing a roof replacement, an emergency repair, or help with a storm-damage insurance claim, this is a well-established, closely-run local option with a long, consistently strong record — worth calling early during storm season given how in-demand the crew appears to be.
