Masters Touch Design Build runs full design-build renovations and additions out of Medway, and the pattern that jumps out fastest is how many customers keep coming back — "our second project with them," "our third reno with Masters Touch" shows up again and again across the review history. A 4.8-star Google rating from 93 ratings, a 5.0 from 9 Houzz reviews, and an A+ accredited Better Business Bureau rating back up what those repeat customers describe. The work skews toward whole-room and whole-house projects: kitchen and bathroom remodels, primary-suite additions, second-floor and dormer additions, and at least two full custom-home rebuilds after a house fire and a flood. Recent reviews describe complex, multi-trade jobs — a two-story addition with steel beams and a rebuilt staircase while a family with three kids and a dog lived in the house, a 1940s house full of surprises (asbestos, out-of-square framing, narrow spaces) handled with what one reviewer called a "make it right" attitude, and a full first-floor renovation where the site supervisor kept things running smoothly enough that the homeowner said he saved their sanity. Named site supervisors and project managers — Nick, Dom, Trevor, Dan, Shane, Steve — come up constantly, and Doug, the owner, is credited with personally stepping in on stressful jobs like a post-flood rebuild. It isn't a spotless record. In a 2024 review, one customer said Masters Touch never returned to address issues as promised a year after a project closed, and singled out shoddy floor work that went unfixed despite repeated follow-up. A separate 2025 review described subcontractors, especially the tile crew, having to come back to redo work, and called out shortcuts taken. A 2024 review, positive overall, flagged that project-plan documents were boilerplate and didn't track actual progress. Set against dozens of detailed accounts of the opposite, these read as real but isolated. Masters Touch fits a homeowner planning a substantial renovation or addition who wants one company managing design through construction, not a quick single-trade fix — the reviews consistently point to strong project management as the differentiator over raw price. Given the one account of a broken follow-up promise, it's worth asking directly, before signing, what their post-completion punch-list process looks like.
“Masters Touch design build in Holliston. We almost hired them for a bedroom/bathroom reno but got cold feet when we saw the price tag. If you want it done right and are willing to pay accordingly, they’ll hook you up.”
“We liked Masters Touch Design and Build for our home renovation.”
I hired Maize to paint my house, replace the entire roof, redo the trim work around the windows and doors, and replace the stone at the front porch entrance. The project is not even finished yet, but so far I am very happy with how everything is going. The team has been very careful with the landscaping, keeps the work areas clean, and pays attention to details that many contractors usually ignore. I have worked with some shady professionals before, so I was honestly a little worried in the beginning. But I can already say that I definitely hired the right people this time. The quality of the work is impressive, and it is not something you see everywhere. So far, the communication has been good, the team has been respectful, and the work looks very professional. I am looking forward to seeing everything completed.
We had a wonderful experience with the Master's Touch team who built a new primary ensuite bathroom for us last year. Starting with Chris P who was our initial contact and got the process started, to our designer Nancy who fully understood our vision and brought us to the showroom to pick all the elements, to Shane who was boots on the ground during construction and extremely communicative and transparent at every step - and everyone involved along the way. The team made it not only easy but fun to dream up our new space and the final result is better than we could've imagined! While the project took longer than anticipated, it was worth the wait (and mostly due to our beautiful floor tiles getting stuck in Italy) :) The quality of their work can't be understated - that paired with the people made the process a dream. Highly recommend!
The work was great and our project manager, Trevor, was fantastic. Breaking the typical mold of overruns and delays that come with any kind of construction, his projections were honest, reasonable, and spot on. Would absolutely recommend.
Masters Touch Design Build is excellent! We’ve worked with Masters Touch to do several projects on our antique house including converting our three season porch to a year round office, transforming our attic, rebuilding our cedar bulkhead, burying our overhead electrical service, and building an extensive addition including a family apartment (ADU) for our aging parents. MT is easy to work with and collaborated well with us through the entire process. This included architecture/design, selections, preparing us for the build process, and actual construction. The MT team is full of competent, honest, good people you can’t help but enjoy working with. The end result is a terrific finished product that meets our expectations, looks great, and left nothing but positive memories of working with the Master Touch team! Big shout outs to Doug (owner), Jake (project manager), and the entire MT team for their design/build excellence! Our home was recently featured as a Boston Globe "Home of the Week" and included pictures of the ADU and other parts of the addition that Masters Touch built.
We had an outstanding experience with Master’s Touch after a flood damaged our first-floor kitchen and bathroom, and they later finished our basement as well. From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly professional and supportive. Doug, the owner, truly went above and beyond to help our family navigate a stressful situation. Alex, the designer, brought our vision for the basement to life perfectly—it turned out even better than we imagined. The quality of work from Karac, one of their trade partners, was exceptional and really shows in every detail. After such a difficult experience, we now feel so comfortable in—and proud of—our home again. We’re incredibly grateful and highly recommend them.
