Puccio Electric
Inspector praised the panel and rewiring work3.4
Verified record
Mauricio F Rosa has an active Massachusetts electrician licence, number 23385, and BuildZoom lists 33 permitted projects with electrical work as the dominant type. A homeowner's only written account on BuildZoom is a 1-star review from June 2013. The customer said an uneven kitchen tile floor was a trip hazard and that Rosa refused to take responsibility after repeated attempts to address it. This is a serious but dated complaint; it does not establish how his work is handled today. Before hiring, ask how he handles callbacks and corrections, and speak with recent customers about electrical work similar to yours. The state-verified electrician licence is current; BuildZoom also lists separate construction-supervisor and home-improvement credentials, which are distinct from the electrician licence and should be confirmed if they matter to your project.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Mauricio F Rosa. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range
$530 – $1,100
Typical electrical project around $820
Mauricio Rosa tiled my kitchen. He did an absolutely horrible job. So bad, in fact, that one could easily trip - that's how uneven the floor was. Mr. Rosa refused to take any responsibility whatsoever. He actually continually stated the floor was "perfect". After many attempts to have him rectify the situation, I registered a complaint with the BBB, to which he did not respond. The BBB finally suggested I take him to small claims court, which I did. I easily won. Mr. Rosa appealed the decision. I won once again. Both court magistrate and judge stated, unequivocally, that they would never accept such poor workmanship. Not only did the floor need to torn up and retailed, but the condition in which he left my home and personal belongs will cost thousands to repair. Watch out for this man. He comes across as very charming but he is manipulative and more importantly, his work is unacceptable as his work ethic. WARNING: Do not hire Mauricio Rosa or use his company, Homeworks of Mass General Contractors. I promise, you will regret it!!! Frankly, even 1 star is too many!!!
