Puccio Electric is a one-person Medford shop — owner John Puccio has run it under license A18249 since 1998, according to his Better Business Bureau file — that keeps landing electrical panel and service-upgrade jobs across greater Boston. On Houzz, where the company shows a 5.0 rating from 30 reviews plus three Houzz Awards and badges, it lists coverage across roughly 44 towns in the area; the individual review text isn't captured here, but the volume and the awards point to a steady book of work. Its Google history is smaller — six reviews from 2021 to 2025 — and the specifics in it are real: in a 2024 review, a homeowner described hiring Puccio for a panel install and service upgrade, then bringing him back for a rewire after their inspector recognized the work and called it 'beautiful'; in a 2025 review, another customer named the crew (Tony, Eric, and Josh) and called the cleanup spotless. Earlier reviews, from 2021 and 2022, describe outlet installs, outdoor-lighting troubleshooting, and fixing faulty wiring, with reasonable pricing mentioned more than once. The one sour note is a 2023 one-star review calling the service and work quality poor, though it doesn't give any specifics to weigh. Houzz lists a Massachusetts electrician license (A18249) for the company — that's Houzz's own listing, not something verified against the state board here. The company's own website is essentially a placeholder with no service or license details on it, so the reviews and directory listings are what to go on. Given the strongest, most detailed accounts are two and four years old rather than recent, it's worth confirming Puccio is still taking the kind of larger panel and rewiring jobs those reviews describe before counting on it.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Puccio Electric. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.

TOP NOTCH, extremely professional workmanship.Tony, Eric and Josh did impeccable work. Couldn’t recommend a better team. Place was spotless when they were done. 100% recommend and trust these guys.
The best contractor experience we’ve ever had. We initially hired Puccio to install new electric panels and upgrade service to our home, and we were so impressed with the quality of his work and customer service that we immediately reached out when we needed additional work done on our house (rewiring). For starters, when the inspector came he complimented the wiring. When I said who did the work he immediately said “checks out, they always do beautiful work”. Green flags! Puccio’s communication, and ability to expectations in both budget and timeline are excellent. The team is so polite and professional. I was working from home and they went above and beyond to minimize disruptions, were great guys all around, and always left the house clean and in good condition. Even the way the crew talks to each other is filled with positivity and patience which is maybe a silly thing to comment on but it was heartening to hear and seemed like a healthy work environment. Everyone at Puccio has demonstrated the utmost expertise in their trade, a willingness to work with us as customers when we had specific needs, answered our thousand questions, showed integrity in their work and pricing, and consistently had excellent communication and customer service. They may not give you the lowest quote in town, but when it comes to electric work you want the job done well and safely- these guys are the real deal. Puccio’s team has exceeded our expectations every time in every regard. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
Horrible customer service and quality of work — don’t waste your time here. electricians aren’t worth a penny.
Prompt, professional and honest.
Puccio was recommended by a neighbor and my wife and I are very happy with their service, from the first phone call until the day of installation/repair. Their prices were reasonable and their work was quality. We used them to install new outlets and troubleshoot outdoor lighting. From estimate to install their employees were friendly and professional. They found and corrected faulty wiring and left our home in better condition than the original install. Absolutely recommend and will use again.
