McCabes Moving

This is my second time using this Company. They are great! The owner was on time , honest and did everything that was promised. The moving staff was exceptionally professional and very friendly. I highly recommend this company for all of your moving/ storage needs. They are the best!

Wow, 4 young guys, one truck, and everything from our 2,400 sq. ft. home moved flawlessly across town in under 6 hours. Real nice and professional crew who did the job with exceptional care and attention. They were so accommodating and willing to go the extra step and made a few ( ok a lot) of changes for us after the original placement didn't seem right. McCabe's Moving is an absolute must booking if you want your experience to be 100% positive. Can't remember the last time we were this satisfied with an organization. Quadruple BRAVO.

McCabe movers did an excellent job moving our loved one into an assisted living. Went above and beyond what we expected. Highly recommend!!

This is the second time I used McCabes in six years, this time coming back to CT from MA. The first time they scratched two night stands, not horrible, not great, and I didn’t say anything. This time a bit more careless and scratched an expensive coffee table and my wine cooler. Maybe not the best for long distance moving? This was a temporary move while I search for a condo, but I won’t risk another move with McCabes when I do eventually find my next residence…sorry. Since this whole episode happened Mr McCabe made things right and was a gentleman in handling the matter. And I didn’t sustain permanent damages to my furniture, so there’s that as well. I will use them again for my next move as they were very easy to deal with after the fact. They truly did everything they could to ensure I was satisfied in the end. Also, I should note, I posted my review before speaking to them, in hindsight I should reached out first.

Well I’ll tell ya’…. Jim McCabe and his employees are top notch. Jim is a genuinely likable guy. Matt, Nick, and Rohan handled the majority of my move. Two other gents came out when the hot tub was delivered last. The company literally bent to my needs and offered storage at a reasonable rate when my closing was delayed. The guys were fantastic in terms of taking care of our “stuff” and never complained, even with my 400 pound wood stove! Jennifer and Heather in the office are great communicators and more than pleasant. That’s a good thing when you deal with me as I can be a bit scatterbrained. I will absolutely recommend this company to friends and family! Y’know what? I like you, so I’ll give you a tip. Use McCabe’s Moving! You will definitely thank me. All the best to you all, Mark DeVoe
