In July 2026, a Hudson-area family wrote on Google that Matt McCarty replaced all the old knob and tube wiring in their home with hardly any wall repair needed afterward, and left every room clean. That is the kind of job McCarty Electric Solutions is hired for: a family-run electrical shop in Hudson, NH that its site says serves southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts, with work spanning wiring, lighting, panels, generators, new construction and troubleshooting. All six Google reviews are five stars and name Matt directly. An April 2026 customer hired him for rewiring, a couple of generator outlets and moving a 120V outlet, and said he was punctual for both the estimate and the work and communicated clearly by email. A March 2026 review describes replacing a couple of circuit panels, with Matt keeping the family informed when unexpected challenges stretched the job. In June 2026, a customer said he came within a day, twice, to fix issues at their mother's house. A September 2025 reviewer who does fix-and-flip houses had him wire their mini-split systems and plans to use him on future projects; another that month had a bathroom exhaust fan and electric heat in a barn installed. Four of the six reviewers mention punctuality. New Hampshire's licensing office lists electrician licence #16557 as active, with Matthew P McCarty as the holder of record.

We hired Matt McCarty to replace all the old knob and tube in our home he was fast, meticulous and very reasonable. He had the work finished on time and hardly any wall repair after he was finished. He cleaned up after himself leaving every room very clean. I have never had a contractor that worked so hard, and was on time every day.I highly recommend him for your electrical needs
I have called Matt twice now to fix issues at my mother’s house and he came within a day to take care of it. He is kind, considerate and does great work. Whenever someone asks me for a recommendation for an electrician I give them Matt’s name!
Working with Matt from McCarty Electric Solutions was such a breath of fresh air compared to other contractors I’ve dealt with. It’s honestly rare to find someone so reliable these days. He was punctual for both the estimate and the actual work, which is a huge contrast to others in the industry who either run late or don't show up at all. His communication via email was also super clear and timely. I hired Matt for a project involving some rewiring, installing a couple of generator outlets, and moving a 120V outlet. The work looks clean and professional, and he didn't leave a speck of trash behind. Just for the record, Matt didn't ask me to write this - I'm just sharing it because he did such a great job. I’d definitely recommend him if you need any electrical work done!
We hired Matt to replace a couple of circuit panels and couldn't be happier with the experience. The pricing was reasonable and he worked within our time frame. From start to finish, Matt went above and beyond — keeping us informed every step of the way, including when unexpected challenges came up. He handled a couple of extra requests without hesitation, and even though the job took longer than anticipated due to those challenges, his attitude remained positive and professional throughout. Thorough, communicative, and genuinely great to work with. Highly recommend!
Matt did an excellent job wiring all of our mini-split systems. I also hired him for one of my clients, and he delivered the same quality work at a very reasonable price. He provides professional quotes, is punctual, and works in a timely manner. I am so glad we came across his business. We also do fix-and-flip houses, and Matt will be our go-to electrician for future projects. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable, and fairly priced electrician. Thanks, Matt!
