An oversized garage door hanging by its cables brought Menard Garage Doors to a customer in the Berkshires, according to a January 2024 Google review. The customer described same-day service, replacement of faulty gear and help reinstalling the door, praising the price. Menard is based in Montgomery and works on garage doors and openers. The company says Doug Menard founded the family business in 2012 and that his son Dan now leads it. Its website advertises free estimates and says the business is insured. Google reports a 5-star average from 25 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade. An October 2025 reviewer praised the installation of two new garage doors at a fair price. Earlier customers described both replacement doors and openers. In September 2018, a reviewer identified Doug as the owner and Dan as his son, saying they had installed two new openers and that the doors were working well afterward. A May 2018 customer said Doug and his son quoted options for tuning up old doors or installing new ones. The customer chose two new doors and described an installation two days later, with weather sealing, quiet operation and cleanup. In an April 2018 review, another customer said Doug visited on a Saturday morning to give a quote. His crew later installed a door and opener in 2.5 hours, explained the opener's functions, removed the old door and cleaned up.
