Mendez Irrigation Corp is a Lynn, MA company built around getting a broken sprinkler system working again fast. Owner Juan Mendez is on every job himself, and the company's site says he has more than 18 years of experience across irrigation, masonry, landscaping and lighting work. The same-day callout comes up again and again in reviews: homeowners describe a leaking irrigation line and a blown control box fixed within a few hours of calling, and a repair scheduled and finished the same week an issue turned up. Pricing draws repeat praise too -- several reviewers say Juan's quote beat a competing bid, including a 2024 review of a 7,500-square-foot yard with a 12-to-13-zone system that called the work excellent and reasonably priced. Recent reviews highlight the same care after the work is done -- one from April 2026 described a crew that left no debris behind and finished exactly what was agreed to. Beyond new installs, reviewers describe a seasonal system shutoff and a 2024 job where the crew carefully reopened and reset a blue stone patio to run a new line -- work that lines up with the masonry and drainage services the company's site also lists alongside irrigation. Across Google, Angi, HomeAdvisor and Thumbtack, recent ratings run from 4.6 to 4.9 stars, and the written record stretches back to 2018. A May 2026 review said no one showed up for a scheduled estimate appointment. A couple of older reviews point to loose ends after the fact -- one from 2023 described a sprinkler zone that stopped working the following spring after a winterization repair, and a 2025 review mentioned chasing the company three times for a receipt. This is a solid call for a sprinkler or irrigation repair, a new system install, or related drainage work. Confirm the appointment the day before if timing matters, and get a receipt in writing when the job is done.
Extremely pleased with the work done by Mendez Irrigation. Juan Mendez was very capable, clever, and creative in solving our drainage problems. He was punctual, thorough, and got everything done quickly and on budget. His communication skills and English are excellent. We had 2 sump pumps and 6 downspouts sending water to underground 4” PVC pipes and dry wells. This system was not working and it was very hard to find someone who could tackle this job. Juan and Rodrigo fixed everything in 4h at a very fair price compared to other vendors. They cleared 3 pipes that were clogged by roots, fixed all disconnections and made sure water was flowing freely in all pipes. They also told me how to maintain the system in the future. I highly recommend Mendez Irrigation for your project.
Completed most of work at a reasonable price, but was a bit hesitant to bid a more difficult repair. Overall I was very satisfied they worked quickly and did a great job at a good price.
Showed up on time and did the work right away ( for a fraction of what was quoted to me from another irrigation company). I would definitely use Mendez irrigation again.
The work was professionally done. I was shown how each zone of sprinkler works and the sprinkler heads were adjusted so that the water is maximally spread on the lawn rather onto the drive way.
They installed a lawn sprinkler system, it went in without a hitch get job i would hire these guys again
