Mendez Tree Service LLC

Mendez Tree Service LLC is a tree company whose website says it provides tree services for residential customers, including tree removal and storm damage tree removal. The company describes itself as locally-owned and family operated, with over 21 years of experience. The service area it states covers Springfield, Hampden, Longmeadow, Wilbraham, Ludlow, Chicopee, Westfield, Agawam, Northampton, Amherst, Holyoke and South Hadley. A customer said the company removed a large, hazardous maple tree that was looming over the house, then ground the stump and flattened the lawn back out. A customer had 7 trees cut down in the back yard and wrote that big branches were let down with a rigging system so there wouldn't be holes in the neighbor's yard, all in one day. A customer said a team took down 8 trees, cut some in sections, stacked the wood and left 2 guys behind who left the yard cleaner than before. A customer wrote that 8 dead trees killed by a gypsy caterpillar infestation were taken down. A customer said the company rescued a cat that had been stuck in a tree for seven days. A 2024 post in r/Springfield called the company "a bit pricey" while praising the work. Western Mass News has featured the company helping Springfield property owners prepare for incoming rain.
