I am so pleased with my new bathroom counter top from Merrimack Stone and Cabinets! Itamar was an experienced stone craftsmen. Every detail was addressed. He took tremendous pride in his craft. It was a bonus that he was both respectful, cautious and engaging! I would highly recommend this company and his services!

We walked into Merrimack Stone & Cabinet in April 2024 for our small kitchen project. We had taken approximate measurements, and were surprised when En was fine using our measurements to determine if the remnant slab we liked would have enough material. This was our first time ever having countertops done, so we trusted them. Error in judgement on our part. We explained that that the kitchen was very small, discussed having a small sink to fit the space, and paid our deposit. Within a couple days we were asked to pay the balance and they would schedule an appointment for someone to come out. What we thought was a design appointment to confirm that there was enough slab material and the correct new position of the sink (lower cabinet had yet to be installed), was actually booked as a template appointment. The staff who came out said he happened to be in the area and “swing by” to get the measurements, but we had to reschedule for once the lower sink cabinet was installed. Fast forward a few weeks to when we completed this, Jimmy came out for the template appointment. Apparently he “has been doing this for so long he doesn’t need to use laser measurements.” We thought we were all set, it took 2-3 weeks after the appointment for them to install, which all seemed fine. On the day of, they had the incorrect sink, an incorrectly cut sink slab, and 2 pieces of backsplash that were not cut properly or even straight. At first the communication with Georgina was fine, she sounded genuinely apologetic for their error. Before being willing to order the correct sink and the new slab, En tried to convince us to let them install the initial slab and have them order a sink that fit whatever measurements they cut incorrectly. Despite them offering a $500 credit, we declined, because the size and positioning of the sink that would be there would look terrible in our kitchen. After going back and forth in communication, once we expressed frustration at their errors, the customer service got hostile. Their emails and phone conversations became rude and accusatory, despite this being their error. They finally got the new slab and new sink, cut it without having a new template for the correct sink size and sink positioning, but fortunately it fit. They neglected to bring our sink drain accessories and refused to deliver or send them, so we had to drive all the way up to get it. When they cut the new sink slab, they never rounded and polished the corners to match the previously installed countertops. I’m relieved the saga of the countertops is over, especially without having any access to first floor plumbing for 6 weeks, but I will never recommend Merrimack Stone and Cabinet to anyone. I gave 2 stars because they technically made it “right,” but their workmanship is poor and messy, and their customer service quickly turned pretty awful
