We hired Metacom Construction for a major home addition and full remodel in Mansfield, MA, and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. What started as a 36x25 foot addition quickly grew into a whole-home transformation, and Chris and Sarah Janson managed every piece of it with professionalism, transparency, and genuine care. The scope was enormous: a brand new foundation and basement buildout (including a finished gym, family room, and bedroom/office), a full custom kitchen remodel with new cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, and custom cabinetry, a new full bathroom with a custom tile shower and custom glass shower door, new windows and sliding glass door throughout, a complete re-side and re-roof of the entire house, a new back deck and front stoop, and a fully redesigned septic system to accommodate the addition. This was not a simple project and Metacom handled it like seasoned pros. What truly set them apart was their ability to coordinate an incredibly diverse set of subcontractors without a single dropped ball. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cabinet fabrication, custom shower door design and installation, and tree and stump removal all came together seamlessly. As the homeowners, we never had to chase anyone down or worry about sequencing. Chris and Sarah managed all of it. As a licensed Massachusetts general contractor (Reg. No. GC-48611), Metacom pulled every required permit — building, septic, electrical, and plumbing — and kept the project compliant with local codes and ordinances from day one. My wife and I contracted with Metacom Const for a sun-room addition. After many meeting with Chris to review/discuss details, expectations and a timeline the project kicked off. Despite some challenging weather conditions the sunroom was delivered as promised! It was delivered on time and exceeded our expectations! As questions arose during the construction process, chris made time to explain the why's and what-for's. Communication was a constant on next steps and expectations.
