That customer found the outdoor unit very loud, felt the heat never fully kept up in an old New England house with a thick foundation, and concluded a heat pump alone might not be enough without a backup heat source in deep cold — though they later edited to say the cooling worked great and was quiet indoors. That is a fair thing to raise before you buy: in an older, poorly-insulated house, ask directly about backup heat and about outdoor unit placement and noise. Otherwise, for a Metrowest homeowner converting off oil or adding zoned cooling, this is a small, highly-rated, owner-run outfit with a deep and consistent record.
