MFW Home Improvements LLC

MFW Home Improvements, run by Marcin out of Quincy, turns up in reviews for a mix of house painting and small carpentry work — porches, railings, a side door, a stubborn set of handrails — done quickly and, in the reviews that give detail, in a single day. Painting jobs get specific praise: a 2022 review described painting a parlor-level rental apartment with high ceilings and intricate crown molding at a reasonable quote after a referral from local real estate professionals, and another described patching and painting on a tight timeline after electrical work. A 2022 review had him paint an entire condo — walls, ceilings, trim — to get it ready for sale, including a few unrequested fixes along the way. On the carpentry side, 2023 reviews describe rebuilding two front porch benches and replacing a side door plus a porch, steps and railing in one day; a kitchen cabinet renovation from early 2022 also drew praise for leaving the space looking better than new. One thing worth flagging: a 3-star review from January 2023 said the work itself — a handrail repair — was done responsively and quickly, but that when the reviewer tried to book a second job, Marcin responded only partway and then stopped answering. That's a real gap between how the work goes once it's booked and how easy it is to get booked again, worth confirming directly before counting on a follow-up project. MFW looks like a solid pick for a painting job or a focused carpentry fix — the specific, repeated praise for the actual craftsmanship is real — just don't assume a second job will be as easy to schedule without checking in first.
