Mgb Remodeling

Mgb Remodeling is Michael Brogna's Maynard shop, and its permit history runs wide: 20 projects on BuildZoom across eastern Massachusetts, most of them residential remodeling, the earliest dating to 2000. The biggest is a $52,000 whole-house renovation on Green Street in Marblehead in April 2023 — new plumbing, a rewire with a new breaker panel, new windows and siding, foundation repair, kitchen and bathroom renovation, and updates to the living room and bedrooms, with a companion plumbing permit pulled the month before. Around it sit additions in Arlington and Falmouth, a sunroom-and-basement job in Westford, built-ins, tile and painting in Boston, roofing and window work in Waltham and Brockton, and an emergency pipe repair in Danvers. The work is not strictly residential: two Maynard commercial vinyl re-siding permits at $35,000 each in 2024, plus commercial roof, renovation and demolition permits in Acton. His Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #177625, is active on the state registry, and BuildZoom lists a construction supervisor licence, #CS-084278, under his name. That page also carries two other home improvement contractor numbers, #182339 and #139181 — the state's licence lookup is where to confirm which registration is current. Its permit-derived BuildZoom score is 97, the 82nd percentile of the Massachusetts contractors the site tracks. For a homeowner planning a gut renovation or an addition — the kind of job that needs one person holding plumbing, electrical, windows and finish work together — this is a builder who has filed exactly those permits under his own name. Ask which licence number is the current one, ask for addresses from the Marblehead or Arlington jobs, and get the scope and payment schedule in writing before demolition starts.
