Shalom G Construction is a Framingham-area Massachusetts general contractor led by Gerson Filho, with work listed across remodeling, additions, decks, flooring, masonry, roofing, foundations, and related residential construction. Google and Houzz each show a 4.9 rating from 10 ratings, while the profiles list a Massachusetts HIC license number 184618 and broad coverage around Boston and nearby communities. Recent Google reviewers in February 2024 and May 2025 praised kitchen remodeling, siding repair, painting, hardwood stairs, workmanship, reasonable pricing, and completing work on time. Older Houzz reviews describe bathroom renovations, clean and punctual crews, attentive oversight, and detailed kitchen and whole-home renovation work. The state registry record marks HIC license 184618 expired, despite the directory listing, so verify current licensing before signing a contract. The review history is strongly positive but concentrated in older Houzz comments and a smaller recent Google sample; confirm the current scope, schedule, and applicable license for the project.
These guys did a bunch of projects for us, siding repair and painting, hardwood staircase installation, kitchen remodeling and others. Always high quality, reasonable price, all the work finished in time, highly recommend.
We asked them to do kitchen remodeling and other projects. They did an excellent job within a short period of time. We are very happy with their work ethics, attention to detail, and overall outcome. Charge for this job was within a reasonable range. We recommend this team very much!!
I work in the service industry and almost never give 5 star reviews. I would gladly recommend Gerson and his team to all my friends, family and colleagues for projects in their home, big or small. Top notch in all aspects. High level of Integrity, craftsmanship, honesty and fairness. Thank you Gerson!
Gerson and his team are great! They installed an island and some extra cabinets in our kitchen and did a fantastic job. They are accommodating and flexible, and do great work.
Shalom G Construction remodeled two of my bathrooms in the fall of 2015. Both bathrooms were taken back to their studs and the construction included new floors, fixtures and plumbing. Gerson and his crew were excellent! They helped with design ideas, were always punctual, cleaned up after themselves everyday.
