The permits say what he actually does. Kitchen remodels and home additions dominate, at a typical permit value around $20,000 — the size of job where you gut a kitchen or push out the back of a house rather than build a new one. The reach runs past Boston: residential work in Braintree, and a commercial fit-out for a restaurant out in Lenox. About 35 of those permits were pulled in the last three years, so the pace is current. Here is the gap. For all that volume, no customer has written anything. BuildZoom's page states it has received no reviews, and the BBB says it does not have enough information to issue a rating at all. What you can check is the paperwork and the permits — not what it was like to live through one of his projects. On the paperwork: BuildZoom lists an active Massachusetts construction supervisor licence, CS-093609, and an active home improvement contractor registration, 161128, both of which it says it checked in July 2026, alongside an older registration, 136856, it marks cancelled. Those are BuildZoom's own entries, not a state confirmation. If you are planning a kitchen or an addition, that permit history is the substantial thing here — long, current, and inspected. Confirm the registration number yourself with the Office of Consumer Affairs, and press for references, because nobody has left one in public.
