He provided a reasonable quote and proceeded on a "handshake" agreement. He and his crew took approximately 1.5 months to complete the job, mainly due to weather. The only thing I was disappointed in was the lip on the garage opening and the backfill job. Jimmy had assured me over and over that there wouldn't be a lip and that the driveway would slope up to the garage opening, it didn't. 3/28/22 - Update. My garage floor isn't even and is cracking. The walls aren't even. We have been trying to put walls up in the garage and the wood doesn't sit flush on the foundation. In addition, my backyard has turned into a veritable swamp due to the mess made when their backhoe got stuck.
