A local news site, lcnme.com, has covered the company celebrating 50 years of business. On r/Maine, a 2025 commenter said a Mitsubishi 18k heat pump through the company came to "$5906k after $800 rebate" and also included redoing the electrical panel. A 2025 commenter on r/Maine wrote that Mid-Coast Energy Systems in Dameriscotta "tests and treats!!!" and praised the company. A 2022 commenter on r/maine said the company quoted higher than their own research and presumed that was due to demand or scarcity.
