Dogs come up in review after review at Millennium Fence — yards fenced so the family retriever can finally have the run of the place, panels set close to the ground so nothing squeezes underneath. That is the job this Rockland shop is called for. The company says it has provided fencing since 1998 and served Rockland and the South Shore for more than 25 years, working in vinyl, wood, aluminium and chain link, and selling fence parts and materials to DIYers and other contractors alongside its installation work. Its BBB file names Mieczyslaw Greloch and Mike Duarte as owners of a three-employee corporation and puts the business start at May 2000 — close to, but not the same as, the 1998 the website prints. The most recent customer to write about them, this July, had an old dog pen taken out, an overgrown strip behind a stone wall cleared, and aluminium fence run down the side yard with chain link at the wooded back edge — done, in their words, at a good price with better quality than expected. The longer history is more mixed than the headline number suggests. Google shows 4.5 stars from 57 ratings; Porch prints 3.4 from what it describes as 27 online reviews restated from other sites, and that gap is worth knowing about. Across 32 reviews from 2021 onward, praise runs to crews that show up early, clean up, and hold to the quoted price, while the low ratings cluster in the earlier years and turn on the same thing: what happens after the crew leaves — a fence that needed a return visit, and calls that went unanswered for weeks. One customer who left an early poor review later revised it after reaching the office instead of an individual rep. A 2025 reviewer refers to the business being 'under new management', and BBB shows the company incorporated in August 2024, so the older complaints may not describe today's crew. One thing to sort out before signing: BuildZoom's page carries an alert reading 'No active license on file' and a licence status of 'Unable To Verify'. Massachusetts exempts fencing-only contractors from home improvement contractor registration under MGL c.142A §14, so for pure fence work that absence is not a fault — but if your job strays into anything structural, ask what registration they carry. And get the warranty terms and the post-installation callback process in writing; that is where this company's unhappy customers ended up. Worth calling if you want a dog-secure yard fence on the South Shore and you value a crew that quotes honestly and finishes fast. Pin down in writing who to contact when something needs adjusting, and what a return visit costs.

The price was great and the quality of the work an product even better. Took out an old dog pen, cleared a grown in area behind a stone wall & installed a beautiful aluminum fence on our side yard & chain link in a wooded area at the back of our property. Very professional and great work. Highly recommend. Happy & safe dogs now.

I had a sizeable project of 35+ segment fence with 3 gates on varied terrain and some stumps in the way. The guys that showed up did a fabulous job and worked their butts off. They were kind to my dogs. I'm very happy with the results. Was it cheap? Nope....but good work is rarely cheap and it was worth every penny.
