Milltown Pest Control LLC is owner-operated, founded in spring 2024 by Matt, and works residential and commercial jobs across southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley, listing Manchester, Concord, Milford, Nashua, Salem and Rochester as its territory. A customer in April 2026 put the appeal plainly: one of the few independent owner-operators in an industry dominated by national chains. Stinging insects and rodents make up most of what people hire him for. A yellowjacket nest cleared the same day in June 2026; wasps, hornets and carpenter ants through 2025; mice in an attic and rats in a yard. The rodent jobs are where the follow-through shows — in an October 2025 review a homeowner said Matt came back as promised to check the bait stations, and that the rat activity had stopped inside two weeks, just as he had said it probably would. Smaller moments say as much. In a September 2025 review a customer said he cut the original quote once he saw the wasp nest was dead, and remembered to lock the gate so the dog could not get out. In an August 2025 review another said he phoned before the job to explain that the nest was bald-faced hornets and what danger they posed. A July 2025 customer who wanted a single application said he did not push a multi-month plan. Worth settling before you book: whether your problem is a one-visit treatment or a trap-and-return job. A January 2026 Thumbtack customer was told he would be back in two to three weeks after setting traps, so ask how many visits the price covers. For a larger or multi-unit property, ask for the assessment in writing — a June 2025 Thumbtack reviewer with a multi-unit building got a walk-through of the findings and the next steps, which is what you want on that kind of job.
