Miranda Finish Carpentry is a small trim-and-built-in outfit that says it's been working the South Shore since 2005, growing from local finish-carpentry jobs into a crew that now covers Plymouth, Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, Hingham, Boston and the rest of the Massachusetts South Shore and Cape Cod. The company describes its work as interior and exterior trim, custom built-ins, stairs and railings, cabinet installation, and custom woodwork — the finish-stage work that shows up after framing is done: casing, baseboards, shelving, staircases. Its public track record is thin. Google shows a perfect 5-star average, but that's built on only four ratings, and there's just a single written review on file from a few years back. Its Better Business Bureau profile is unaccredited and carries no star rating for lack of information, though it shows no complaints filed against the company. There's no Houzz, Thumbtack, or Angi presence to corroborate the picture, so most of what's known comes from the company's own site plus that thin Google and BBB trail. One wrinkle worth flagging: the address on file with the state (68 Bow St, Carver, MA) doesn't match the Plymouth address (186 Summer St) that shows up on its BBB listing, its own website, and other directories. That's likely a registered-agent-versus-working-address split rather than anything concerning, but it's worth confirming which one is current. With so little independent track record, this is one to vet directly before booking — ask for recent job references and photos of comparable trim or built-in work, since the public reviews aren't deep enough yet to lean on alone.

Flavio and his crew couldn’t be any more professional, polite, or tidy. Their workmanship on my bathroom tile job was perfect and we are so happy with the results. Flavio was very fair with his pricing and was in and out without any disruptions to the house. I will call on Flavio in the future and I highly recommend Miranda Finish Carpentry for all your construction or home improvement needs !
