A 2025 customer said Modern Hearth installed a wood stove, with Dave and Ed protecting the floors and organizing tools before completing the installation. The 2025 customer said the chimney pipe went through the roof and had not leaked after a couple of months. A 2025 customer said more than $8,000 had been spent on two fireplaces and installation through Fire House Stove Shoppe, but the fireplaces remained uninstalled after the scheduled installation date. The 2025 customer said repeated calls, emails and texts to Modern Hearth and the Stove Shoppe had not resolved the delay and that management and installation were not responding to calls.
I spent >$8k on two fireplaces and their installation from Fire House Stove Shoppe in August with install scheduled for September and they still haven't been installed as of December 10th. Repeated calls, emails and text messages with Modern Hearth, and the Stove Shoppe still haven't gotten this done. Meaghan from the sales floor is very kind and helpful - but management and installation have been ghosting calls and have been left me hanging so far. I'm $8k in so I really hope they come through for me - and I will update this review after installation is complete.
We purchased a wood stove and Modern Hearth did our installation. As soon as they arrived, Dave and Ed got to work...they protected our floors and organized their tools and equipment and before we knew it, the installation was complete. We were a wee bit shocked when they installed the chimney pipe...through the roof but it's been a couple of months and not a single leak. I highly recommend this small business. Young men looking to establish and build a business in NH. They were recommended and do all installations for The Fire House Stove Shoppe in Epping.
