Morin's Landscaping, Inc. works out of 301 Depot Road in Hollis, New Hampshire, and by its own account has been landscaping since 1978; the Better Business Bureau lists 43 years in business with Thomas Morin as president. The company installs and maintains grounds for homes, commercial properties and condominium associations, adds hardscapes, irrigation and lighting, sells materials such as topsoil from its Depot Road yard, and runs snow removal for commercial and condominium clients. When homeowners hire Morin's for design and installation, the praise is unusually specific. A 2025 reviewer described the firm moving and planting trees, rebuilding garden beds, repairing irrigation and bringing a new lawn in thick and striped, and a 2022 reviewer named owner Tom and his team for the same kind of full-property work and for being easy to reach. A 2016 New England Real Estate Journal article listed Tom Morin among past recipients of the New Hampshire Construction Industry Ethics Award. The recurring complaints are about the routine crews rather than the design work. Reviewers in 2026 described weed-whackers cutting groundcover and a rose of sharon that was about to bloom, and a 2024 condominium resident described bleeding heart plants destroyed in their own bed. Winter work draws the sharpest criticism: a 2026 reviewer said plowing knocked down mailboxes and tore up grass and driveways with no compensation, another described a school lot left unsalted during a March 2026 storm, and a 2025 reviewer said marker stakes were mowed down and the lawn scraped. Several people also could not get a quote at all, saying calls went unreturned for over a week, and recent reviewers complain about how the company's trucks are driven on local roads. Worth asking before booking: who exactly will be on your property week to week, how damage claims are handled and settled, and, if you are buying materials, whether the screened topsoil is being sold to homeowners as well as trade accounts. One caveat on the numbers: Google shows a 4.0-star average from 117 ratings, far above what the 29 written reviews on file suggest, so a large majority of raters left a star with no words at all.
“Tom Morin, of Morin’s Landscaping, Hollis, N.H.”
Drivers are downright dangerous. Have no regard for the small New England roads they operate on. The office is unwilling to receive complaints.
There is zero need for the drivers of your trucks to go 15-20mph in a 40-45 mph zone on a main roadway. Holding up traffic so its bumper to bumper from Hollis all the way to the route 3 overpass making what should be 15 min commute almost 30 min +. Not only that, but not using your signal and cutting people off when they have the right of way, your workers are going to cause an accident due to their reckless and negligent driving. This is every single day. Not an isolated event. You do NOT own the roads. Let's be real here... the way your drivers are so reckless, are your workers even legally licensed to drive for your company?
Please teach your workers what is groundcover versus weeds they just weed wacked all of my groundcover and just trimmed my rose of sharon ready to bloom without permission i am beyond pissed off
I always thought of morins as one of the best around. But for a few years, they kept airing a deck to the point where they write it out I brought it up to them dozens of times even had a supervisor stop by and talk to me, but they took absolutely no responsibility for the damage they did at all. So they’re great as long as it is not a problem anytime there’s a problem. They simply ignore you and wait for you to go away so they do great work but they’re totally irresponsible.
Very clean nice yard and helpful
