Mount Pleasant Plumbing & Heating is a one-owner shop in Plymouth run by Todd Monska, who the business says has worked with oil, propane, and natural gas systems for more than 35 years and has held a plumbing license for over 25. That license is active, verified against the Massachusetts state registry, and the company carries an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, which has accredited it since 2009 with no complaints on file. The written record is thin but consistent. In a 2023 review, a homeowner described a boiler's temperature valve getting fixed the same day it was reported. An earlier, 2021 review described a full heating-system replacement in an 1850 house - the kind of job where old plumbing and framing throw up surprises - with the reviewer praising Todd's patience working through the kinks as they came up. Between the verified license, the long-standing BBB accreditation, and an owner with decades in oil, propane, and gas heating work, this reads as an established, small operation well suited to heating-system work, particularly in older homes. There's little written feedback to draw on beyond the two reviews here, so it's worth confirming current availability before counting on a fast turnaround.
Great guy and great business. Fixed the temperature valve on my boiler the day I contacted him.
Todd was great to work with and did a terrific job installing an entire new heating system in our 1850 house. Working in an old house always throws you curve balls, and Todd was patient and good-humored as we worked out kinks in our plan as he progressed. Besides doing great work, Todd is a really nice guy, and we enjoyed getting to know him while he was here. Thanks, Todd!
